The Blood Drive By: Jordyn Lussier

On November 18th, the National Honor Society is hosting a blood drive with the Red Cross. The blood drive will be held in the PE space from 1 p.m to 6 p.m. Donors must be 17 years old to donate, or 16 with parental consent. We encourage SSCPS students and faculty to donate blood if they are able to. 4.5 million Americans would die each year without life saving blood transfusions, and with the help of you guys, the SSCPS community of 16 and older, we could make a difference. By donating only one pint of blood, you could save up to 3 lives! Don’t do it to make yourself feel better, do it to make someone else feel and live better. For more information, you can ask a National Honor Society member or Emily Merwin, who can be found down in level IV.
